This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Rapid Trades website at rapid-trades.com, what they are for, and how to change your choice.
It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes more fully what information we collect and how it is handled.
The Rapid Trades application at app.rapid-trades.com is a separate service. Signing in there involves cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in; those are described in the Privacy Policy rather than here.
Section 1. WHAT THESE TECHNOLOGIES ARE
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include browser storage such as `localStorage` and `sessionStorage`, which hold small values in your browser without sending them with every request.
We use both, for the limited purposes described below.
Section 2. STRICTLY NECESSARY
Your cookie choice. When you accept or reject analytics, we store that decision in your browser so we do not ask again on every page. It is kept in `localStorage`, not in a cookie, and it holds only three things: whether you accepted analytics, the version of this policy you were shown, and when you decided.
It contains no identifier and nothing describing you, and it is never sent to us as part of a profile.
This is the only thing the marketing website stores by default. It is set whichever way you answer, including when you reject — declining analytics is itself a decision we have to remember.
Section 3. ANALYTICS — ONLY IF YOU ACCEPT
Important — read carefully
If you accept analytics, two services are permitted to store information in your browser. If you decline, they are instructed not to, and no analytics cookies are set.
Google Analytics. Provided by Google. It measures traffic and how people move through the site — which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, and which calls to action are used. It sets cookies to distinguish one browser from another and to group requests into a visit.
Microsoft Clarity. Provided by Microsoft. It records how pages are actually used, including session replays of interactions such as scrolling, mouse movement and clicks, along with heatmaps and reports on frustrated interactions like rage clicks. It sets cookies and uses browser storage to link the parts of a single session together.
We use these to understand how the website is used and to improve it. We do not use them for advertising, we do not run advertising tags, and advertising storage is switched off for both services regardless of your analytics choice.
Both are third-party services that handle the information they collect under their own privacy terms. See Google's and Microsoft's privacy documentation for details of their own processing.
Section 4. THE EMBEDDED FORM
One page on this website — the product updates page — embeds a form hosted by a third-party form provider. When that form loads, the provider may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser under its own privacy policy and outside our control.
If you do not visit that page, the embed does not load.
Section 5. CHANGING YOUR CHOICE
When you first visit, analytics is off until you choose. Nothing is measured before you answer.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Preferences control in the site footer. Selecting it clears your stored decision, switches analytics off immediately, and asks again.
Changes take effect straight away. You do not need to reload the page for a rejection to apply.
Section 6. BROWSER CONTROLS
Your browser gives you independent control. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies specifically, or clear site data — through their own settings, and regardless of anything you have chosen here.
Blocking cookies on the marketing website will not stop you reading it. Blocking cookies for the Rapid Trades application will prevent you from staying signed in.
Many browsers also offer a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Our handling of universal opt-out signals is described in the Privacy Policy.
Section 7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we add, remove or materially change the technologies described here, we will update this page.
Where the change materially affects what is collected, we will ask for your choice again rather than carrying over a decision you made about something different.
The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
